The Tallink Silja Line ferries depart from Värtahamnen terminal to the northeast of the centre and Viking Line ferries sail from Stadsgården, located on Södermalm island near Slussen. Both terminals have refreshments, toilets, baby change, luggage lockers, ATMs and parking available.
Getting to and from the ferry terminal
Stockholm ferry terminals are easily reached on public transport: buses and the metro are the cheapest while the boat bus and hop-on-hop-off buses are also available. Two boat buses take you to either the Djurgården bridge on the edge of Stockholm or to the Central train station. The Viking terminal has hop-on-hop-off buses all year round and during the summer season, there are hop-on-hop-off boats nearby at the Cruise Berth Viking Line & S167 stop. There is also city transfer-bus goes from the Tallink Silja terminal to the city centre and back via Djurgården's bridge. There is an international airport in Stockholm, connected to the city centre by coaches and local buses. There are taxi ranks at both terminals.
