The port of Palermo, in Sicily, is an important port that has undergone improvement and renovation in recent years. Palermo train station is about 10 minutes by taxi from the port. The airport of Palermo "Falcone Borsellino" is about 40 minutes by taxi from the port. From the airport there is a bus service to the port. There are frequent connections in both directions every half an hour.
