The route is less than 50 kilometres long and it takes you through the western part of the island. It begins in Marina di Campo on a flat stretch, then goes up Procchio hill, afterwards descending down towards the town. Continue towards Marciana Marina along some gentle slopes then continue towards Poggio, where you will be surrounded by Mediterranean scrub. One of the most striking features is definitely the Costa del Sole from which you can see Elba’s fantastic beaches.
There are also some interesting cycling activities for families with children. Routes with breathtaking views are available for the whole family! You can also rent bikes with child seats along the easy and safe Calamita Light route, which is a road that leads to the mines, which are worth a visit!
