The Cyclades have an incredible geological history in this part of the world, most of the islands are peaks of a submerged mountainous terrain, except for Milos and Santorini, which are volcanic. There are plenty of natural attractions from beaches, caves to rock formations and hiking trails. Today we explore some of the best hiking trails for those in search of breathtaking views and tranquillity. Hiking around the islands is the best way to immerse yourself in the landscape fully, do something healthy and avoid the crowds.

  • Vist Norway's fjords with Netferry

Have you ever wanted to visit Norway? But didn’t know which location to choose. We often imagine Norway as a country of magnificent fjords and epic landscapes, but how do you get to these remote places? And how do you choose the best location from which to explore? Well, Netferry can help you with this, we recommend that instead of heading by aeroplane straight for Oslo, why not travel by ferry to somewhere along the coast to make the most of the journey and make your holiday more environmentally friendly.

Netferry recommends heading to the little-known port of Flåm, a little village to the west of the capital situated in an area that is famous for fjords. Flåm lies at the end of Aurlandsfjord fjord, which is a branch of the vast Sognefjord fjord. Sognefjorden is also known as the King of the Fjords because it is the broadest and deepest fjord in Norway, stretching 205 kilometres inland from the sea.

  • Explore outdoor activities, unspoiled nature and environmental awareness in Sweden with Netferry

Nature is Sweden's major attraction, a land of unspoilt, colourful natural landscapes.  From the immaculate white of the winter snow and ice to the earthy greens in spring, to the deep blue waters of the coastlines and lakes. With 29 national parks, covering over 7,000 square kilometres, Sweden is a massive expanse of natural beauty and biodiversity. Not surprisingly, the first national park in Europe was established here in 1909.

In the north, the vegetation is limited to conifers due to the arctic temperatures, while in the south visitors will be able to admire impressive, majestic oaks and endless beech forests. The coastline is the longest in Europe, stretching for over 7000 km. There are also over 100,000 lakes adding even more beauty to this unique landscape.
