It is a vast port, with various passenger terminals for foot passengers or those with a vehicle in tow. Departures and arrivals for passengers are from Terminal A, but Tallink ferries leave from terminal D. The terminal is equipped with all facilities for travellers in transit.
How to reach Tallinn port
By car from the city centre, follow the visible road signs for Terminal A; at the roundabout in the port area, take the first exit on the right and follow the directions for Check-in. There are parking lots in the city centre for a fee, follow the instructions for the carpark. It is strictly forbidden to leave your vehicles outside of the dedicated parking areas.
There is a large paid parking area in terminal D. In the terminals there are bus stops that connect with the city centre, bus number 2 goes to both the port and the airport. The connections leave every thirty minutes, from seven in the morning until midnight and the ticket costs € 2.00 each way. If you use a taxi for your journeys from the centre of Tallinn, the trip will cost between € 5 and € 10.
Tallinn airport is about six kilometres from the port; there are frequent connections on bus number 2. Get off at Laikmaam after six stops and from here, go towards Keskturg and take bus number 2 green line to the Linanhall stop from here the port is about a kilometre away.
