The sea crossing between Samos and Dodecanese Islands is temporarily not in operation by sailing companies in partnership with NetFerry.
The port of Vathi has connections to Piraeus, various Cyclades islands, the Dodecanese and the Eastern Aegean. In the summer period there is also a daily connection with Turkey - Kusadasi. There are facilities for private boats and yachts at the port. The port is well connected to the villages and beaches of the island by bus and the bus station is about 10 minutes from the port, in the center of Vathi.
