How to reach the port of Formia
To reach the port by car you take the A1 motorway then the Cassino exit. Continue on the SS7 until you reach Via Tallini and then go straight to the terminal area. For most of the year it is not possible to take the car on the two islands with which the port is connected, so you have to leave cars in Formia. There are a few free public parking spaces and several private parking lots with daily rates. The nearest airport is Naples Capodichino, which can be reached in an hour and a half by car or by bus.
